The Free Range Bronze Turkey:
The Bronze turkey is probably the most popular variety of turkey and most well known. The metallic sheen, which gives the breed its name, is part of its inheritance from its wild ancestors. The meat from Bronze turkeys is slightly darker than the White, extremely juicy and is slightly "gamey".
They are a much rarer breed and definitely not bred for mass production.
The The Free Range White Turkey:
The most commonly raised commercial turkey today is the Broad-Breasted White variety, which has all-white plumage. It is a nice plump bird with plenty of delicately flavoured meat.
